Why celebrate Autumn Equinox?
Our bodies dance in rhythm to the larger patterns of creation. We are not separate. We are part of a larger story. The rhythms of the earth have invitations for us to deepen into the wisdom of our own bodies and souls.
Autumn Equinox marks the first day of fall as the wheel of the year turns towards the growing darkness. It is one of only two days in the entire year when light and darkness are equally halved.
The arrival of autumn invites us to slow down and begin to turn inward. It is a time to give thanks for what has been given and release what is ready to be let go.
Gathering together in ceremony helps us to participate in the season through community, practice, and intention. As we join together, we remember our wild belonging. We remember the Spirit who sang this spiral dance into being. And we remember the oneness of the great web of life.
What to expect:
Expect to be outside in a private backyard under the sky. Expect to climb some stairs to get there.
Expect sacred, compassionate community; space to listen and share from the heart.
Expect space for co-creation, for the wisdom of the circle to grow with each voice added.
Expect song, story, and embodied practice.
Expect a deep dive into the season. Expect to want more where that all came from...our souls are hungry for ritual and connection!
Who’s this for?
This space is open to any womxn longing to connect to body, to earth, to ritual, to the larger community of creation, and to the divine within and between.
