Imbolc: A Wild Gathering
What seeds are stirring deep within?
Imbolc means “in the belly.” It is a cross-quarter day in the Celtic Wheel of the year marking the first signs of spring as the secret stirrings of the seeds in the belly of the earth begin to make themselves known.
Welcome the signs of new life, connect to your own wild hunger, and feast on the beauty of nature through community, ritual, and reflection.

Why celebrate Imbolc?
Our bodies dance in rhythm to the larger patterns of creation. We are not separate. We are part of a larger story. The rhythms of the earth have invitations for us to deepen into the wisdom of our own bodies and souls.
Imbolc marks the first signs of spring as the wheel of the year turns towards the growing light. It is the stirring of the seeds in the belly of the earth, inviting us to pay attention to the most subtle rumbles and whispers of life stirring around us and within.
Imbolc reminds us that life begins with tender roots and delicate shoots. Such softness of being is where a particular kind of strength is held.
Gathering in ceremony helps us to participate in the season through community, practice, and intention. As we join together, we remember our wild belonging. We remember the Spirit who sang this spiral dance into being. We remember the oneness of the great web of life.
What to expect:
Expect to be outside in a wild-ish space, full of oak trees, bird song, and the memory of a wild river.
Expect space for a gentle wander—wear shoes (or don’t!) appropriate for a dirt trail.
Expect sacred, compassionate community; space to listen and share from the heart.
Expect song, story, and embodied practice.
Expect a deep dive into the season. Expect to want more where that all came from...our souls are hungry for ritual and connection.
Who’s this for?
This space is open to anyone longing to connect to body, to earth, to ritual, to the larger community of creation, and to the Divine Presence within and between.
This is a no-cost gathering. Your presence is your gift. Truly. If you’d like to make a donation, however, see details upon registration.
