Why celebrate Spring Equinox?

Our bodies dance in rhythm to the larger patterns of creation. We are not separate. We are part of a larger story. The rhythms of the earth have invitations for us to deepen into the wisdom of our own bodies and souls.

Spring Equinox marks the first day of spring as the wheel of the year turns towards the growing light. It is one of only two days in the entire year when light and darkness are equally halved.

The arrival of spring invites us to welcome the growing light and the signs of pulsing possibility in the outer world as well as those stirring within our own souls.

What new life is preparing to bloom bright and wild?

Gathering together in ceremony helps us to participate in the season through community, practice, and intention. As we join together, we remember our wild belonging. We remember the Spirit who sang this spiral dance into being. And we remember the oneness of the great web of life.

What to expect:

  • Expect to be outside under the darkening sky in a private year with lots of stairs (unfortunately it is not a wheelchair accessible venue). There will be a campfire .

  • Expect sacred, compassionate community; space to listen and share from the heart.

  • Expect song, story, and embodied practice.

  • Expect a deep dive into the season. Expect to want more where that all came from...our souls are hungry for ritual and connection.

Who’s this for?

This space is open to anyone longing to connect to body, to earth, to ritual, to the larger community of creation, and to the divine within and between.

Cost:

For those who are able, the cost is a sliding scale of $25-45. However, you can pay any price that makes sense for you or, if unable to pay, simply come and enjoy.

If it’s your first event, please come for free!

Your presence is your gift. Truly.
